What is socially responsible investing?
It’s an approach that combines environmental, social and governance factors into the investment decision making process to better manage risk and generate sustainable, long term returns.
We understand that socially responsible investing is important to our members – as it is to us – which is why our fund manager incorporates these factors into the process of buying, holding and selling investments.
Consideration is given to how companies impact the environment, in a positive or negative way including their approach to climate change and sustainability. Social factors such as diversity, human rights and consumer protection are also important. While a focus on governance means evaluating management, executive compensation and employee relations.
