There are also a number of other support options that can be accessed, such as:

Bushfire claims - our insurance partner TAL has let us know that it’s ready to handle any bushfire claims and is already supporting members by making sure their claims are dealt with pragmatically and as quickly as possible.

Financial hardship - your bank will have hardship teams ready to help you with practical ways to provide assistance.

For members experiencing severe financial hardship, you may also be able to access some of your super in extenuating circumstances. We can assist in determining whether some relief is available.

The Department of Human Services is offering financial help to those who have been adversely affected or lost income as a direct result of the bushfires.
